Saint Verena and the Three Holy Youth Coptic Orthodox Church was established in 1999 to serve a primarily English-speaking congregation with an active youth. In 2001, the congregation purchased the existing building with classrooms suitable for a school on the land. Father Gregory Bishay started his service in the parish in 2001 while Father Boulos Baky arrived in 2006.

All services are held in English. The church helped establish a system of using Powerpoint presentations to aid parishioners in following the liturgy. Also, the church is the publisher of the popular "Holy Pimoly" animated series aimed at instructing children in the Orthodox faith using an easy-to-understand cartoon character.
